Toys and Games Reviews of Bella Dancerella Home Ballet Studio with DVDCustomer Review: HORRIBLE QUALITY Summary: 1 Stars
I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE IT 1 STAR, I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND THE DVD WAS SEVERLY DAMAGED UPON OPENING IT. I CALLED THE STORE AND THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD SEVERAL RETURNED WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. I CALLED SPIN MASTER AND THEY WANTED ME TO PAY TO SEND IT TO THEM AND FILL OUT PAPERWORK WHICH IN TURN WOULD PUT ME ON A WAITING LIST TO GET ONE. THEY ALSO ADVISED ME THEY WOULD NOT START FILLING THE WAITING LIST UNTIL AT LEAST 4-6 WEEKS FROM NOW. WHY SHOULD I BE OUT MORE MONEY FOR THIS TERRIBLE QUALITY TOY. I TOOK IT BACK TO THE STORE, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Customer Review: the best toy in the world, ever... Summary: 5 Stars
This is our (spoilt) daughter's favourite toy.
She loves the DVD and has now decided to become a ballerina.
If you want to have some rest just put in the DVD and know that your daughter has serious quality time while working out for the next hour...
This set is an absolute bargain. The DVD alone is worth the price as it is professionally done.
I don't know what the compaints are about this item but we and especially our daughter loves the music and the entire presentation on this DVD.
Customer Review: My Daughter Liked it Summary: 4 Stars
My daughter received Bella Dancerella for her 7th birthday. It covers the basics well and what mattered most was that my daughter enjoyed it. If you want to learn advanced ballet, this dvd won't show you much. The video is a little funky and annoying to me but again, the kids like it. Even her 4 year old sister was doing it alongside of her. The bar isn't very sturdy but it's not meant to bear weight just aid in balance. I like that it's lightweight and can be taken apart to be put away.
Customer Review: Great for Young Girls Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old for Christmas and she ADORES it. She has played with it every night and I constantly hear her singing "bella bella bella dancerella" in her car seat. I recommend 100% for entertainment value. Now if you want your 2 year old to learn the ballet basics reliving your lifelong wish to be a prima ballerina - you should probably just realize that she is only 2 and sit back and watch your child have FUN.
Customer Review: Not worth the price Summary: 2 Stars
This would be a cute item in the $15 price range but this was a the worst toy i've seen in this price range. The mat is flimsy and somewhat useless. The video that comes with it is so akward and, so is the british tween host who instructs as strangely as she dances. There are also pupets who serve no purpose at all. My 2 girls ages 3 & 4 love ballet, though this was to beginner even for them. Don't buy.
