Customer Review: Random Selection Not So Random?

When I purchased 2 sets of Bakugan Battle Packs for a Christmas gift for my son, the seller's description said that the assortments were random.
I would never have imagined that out of the hundreds (if not more) of "random" packs that I would receive 2 exactly the same.
But I did. Exact duplicates. 6 Bakugan per pack. 6 identical matches
This would lead me to believe that either the seller had only one version and failed to disclose it or that they/Amazon don't care about the customer enough to pick from 2 different boxes.
Anyway, how do you give 2 of the same gifts to your child?

My son and his friends all love collecting and trading the Bakugan Battle Brawlers. By adding up the G-power, gate and ability cards it has helped my son get even faster adding three digit numbers. They are ridiculously expensive though.Customer Review: My kids love this toy

I don't understand the appeal of the bakugan toys, but my two sons (ages 6 and 8) love to play with them. I don't see any educational value but I also don't see anything educationally harmful about them. Customer Review: Bakugan

I am not sure about this toy, however, my son and his friends thinks they are great. I do like the magnetic mechanism which causes the figure to morph from a cynlinder into a creature...thats pretty cool. The only issue I have is with different dealers charging different prices for the same object. The company I used in conjuction with Amazon, seems to be the most fair ...and resonably priced (even lower than the major chains like ToysRus and Etoys).
My recommendation is...if you by Bakugan action figures, please forge ahead and purchase the holder as well. Its compact and can be dismantled to carry certain figures in a holder. Trust its better than finding yourself hurt due to one on the floor. ... Like I told my son, he is NOT getting the insurance money now! smile
Customer Review: BEWARE -- YOU MAY GET B2 BRAWLERS!!!!

Although the ad for the item states "styles and colors may vary," I did not expect to get "B2" Brawlers which are bigger/different from the regular Battle Brawlers. Because Amazon itself distinguishes between regular Bakugan and "B2" Bakugan, I thought I was safe ordering this item (that I would get the regular Battle Brawlers). Unfortunately, to an 8 yr. old boy, they are very different things. I am going to try and have the item replaced through Amazon Customer Service, but there is no way to know if I'll get what was advertised (and what my son wants).
