My daughter is in 4th grade and this is "the most popular" item around. The kids trade them at school. Some of them look pretty interesting on how the open. They open when you place them on metal or on the magnetic card. I wouldn't call them very educational, although the kids do pay attention to how powerful the numbers are on them and they learn some basic engineering when unfolding them into the character.Customer Review: Nephew had a very happy B-day thanx to Amazon speedy delivery

Bakugan anything is in high demand in my area. So to find anything was impossible, the shelfs were always empty and the mom's were getting pushy as they were getting deperate before X-mas which is when my nephew's B-day is.I went to Amazon and they had everything I wanted and the shipping although pricey for next day it was worth every penny to see the look on my nephew's face. I may be new to the entire Bakugan universe, but I do know there are dozens of variations of these little "warriors." Unfortunately, Amazon either has just one type of Battle Pack (my nephew now will receive two of the same thing) or someone at Amazon has a really wicked sense of humor. All my 8 year old son wanted for his birthday is Bakugan. All the stores in my area were sold out. I was very pleased when I was able to order it online. He was extremely happy when he opened his present! It's the hottest thing at his school and all he has talked about for months. My only complaint would be the price... seems high for what it is.Customer Review: Grandson was extremely happy!!!

This is an item my grandson was searching for in all of the toy stores and they were never in stock. He had one and carried it with him everywhere. Now he is the proud owner of the variety of colors and loves to play with his friends with them...
