My son absolutely HAD to have these, and we finally found some before Christmas. The idea seemed cool enough - sort of a combination between pokemon, transformers, and battle tops, but they really weren't what he expected. Yes, they do what the commercials say they'll do, as far as opening up when rolled over the magnetic card, but the rest is a little hokey. This is a good toy for practicing reading, and maybe a little strategy/analysis, but that's about it. The balls are fragile (the first one fell apart within twenty minutes), the game not very engaging, and the hype, first rate.Customer Review: BEWARE -- YOU MAY GET B2 BRAWLERS!!!!

Although the ad for the item states "styles and colors may vary," I did not expect to get "B2" Brawlers which are bigger/different from the regular Battle Brawlers. Because Amazon itself distinguishes between regular Bakugan and "B2" Bakugan, I thought I was safe ordering this item (that I would get the regular Battle Brawlers). Unfortunately, to an 8 yr. old boy, they are very different things. I am going to try and have the item replaced through Amazon Customer Service, but there is no way to know if I'll get what was advertised (and what my son wants).Customer Review: Hard to find Bakugan

I purchased this for my 9 year old son. I bought it from Amazon as we had driven to approx. 10 different stores to get this hard to buy toy.
My son loves the Bakugan and it is toy that both my 9 and 15 year old will play together.
I don't understand how to play it but they do and the added bonus is some math thrown into the game as they have to add and subtract points depending on the Bakugan they use. It was a little more expensive than we have seen it for but the fact that I could get it delivered and no more driving was a great bonus.

I bought this toy for my son on November 28th. I got online this afternoon to check shipping status and thought I would read some of the reviews. I paid [...] for this exact toy on Nov. 28th with no shipping fees and here it is Mon. Dec. 1st. and the price is [...]. That is almost a [...] mark up in less than 3 days, all because it is supposed to be cyber monday! I am so glad I ordered mine for my son a little earlier instead of waiting thinking I could get it cheaper. What a rip off for those of you who must pay this price Review: easy to breakSummary: 2 Stars my son has been mentioning bakugan for weeks, we didn't understand what's that, then my brother bought it as a gift for him, he had fun for few days, then the green one broke, the red one got lost. I can't judge the level of fun with it, because it is for kids and my son didn't play it for long, as educational value it is ok, he learned the minus numbers and some maths. the toys are cute, but easy to lose, they are very expensive not worth all that money,I am buying new ones now, will see how long the fun will last..
