Toys and Games Reviews of Bakugan Battle Pack (Styles and Colors May Vary)

Customer Review: Hard to find
Summary: 4 Stars

Bakugan Battle Pack (Styles and Colors May Vary) After not being able to find Bakugans in any local store I decided to shop online. I found them online and placed my order. Then the very next day I saw them online again for about half the price I was going to pay.I cancelled my order as fast as I could. Then ordered the same item again at the lower price. After having the shipping dat changed twice on me with the last date scheduled for February.I searched and placed another order from a different vendor for 50% more money. The very next day the order that was supposed to ship in February miracuously shipped at the same time as my newest order. So, now I have two orders on the way. One cost me $25.99 and the other $38.68. I guess the only one happy here is going to be my grandson. If he's happy I guess I'll have to be also. Even if I do feel taken. Merry Christmas!

Customer Review: Great Deal!
Summary: 5 Stars

My two boys (7 & 5) have been bugging me for weeks to get them more of these toys. They each bought one a few months using their allowance money. They have been a great incentive to get them to complete their house hold chores and complete their homework. So when they reached one of their goals, I took them to Target (then to Walmart, Toys R Us, etc.) but was unable to get them. They were out of stock in every store. They are pretty expense at these stores for such a small plastic toy (~$7-8 per Bakugan ball plus 1 gate card). So I checked Amazon. I paid $21 for 6 Bakugan balls and 6 gate + 6 ability cards on Amazon. Our set came with the highly sought after Drago ball. I know absolutely nothing about how to play the game or what each card means. I had to ask my 7 yr old a bunch of questions to write this review. I hand one Bakugan ball and 1 card to them out every time my boys reach one of their goals. Good luck.

Customer Review: Marbles in the 21st Century?
Summary: 5 Stars

When I was a kid marbles were just that - marbles. In an age when everything must transform into something else Spinmaster has reinvented the marble. I have to admit they are very cool. About the size of the Agies I used to play with these little balls burst open and become cool little creatures - like dragons, people, animals. My grandson loves them and they are in high demand - at least around Delaware!!
I knew he had a bunch of these things and that he wanted more, but I was unable to find them anywhere - thank goodness for Amazon.com they shipped in plenty of time for Christmas and I can't wait to see my grandson's face on Christmas morning. He knows that they are hard to find. My only worry is that I got duplicates of what he already has - oh well -the better to trade with my dear.

Customer Review: Bakugan
Summary: 4 Stars

I am not sure about this toy, however, my son and his friends thinks they are great. I do like the magnetic mechanism which causes the figure to morph from a cynlinder into a creature...thats pretty cool. The only issue I have is with different dealers charging different prices for the same object. The company I used in conjuction with Amazon, seems to be the most fair ...and resonably priced (even lower than the major chains like ToysRus and Etoys).

My recommendation is...if you by Bakugan action figures, please forge ahead and purchase the holder as well. Its compact and can be dismantled to carry certain figures in a holder. Trust its better than finding yourself hurt due to one on the floor. ... Like I told my son, he is NOT getting the insurance money now! smile

Customer Review: My son loves it
Summary: 4 Stars

I may not be the best person to review this product -- I'm not familiar with Bakugan, but my son and his kindergarten classmates seem to love it. So, we got him the starter set for his 6th birthday a couple of weeks ago. He was extremely excited and has a lot of fun playing with them. i didn't rate the educational component high b/c I have to admit I don't even know what the concept is and didn't take the time to read the directions! My 6 year old has just as much fun rolling them onto the cards and watching them open up. I also didn't rate the durability high b/c they do tend to break, but I also have 4 children ages 6 and under who aren't always so gentle....Overall, I would recommend this set -- my 6 year old son loves them and has taken them everywhere with him.
