I originally bought this game for my son's friend's birthday (8 years old)and the boys played it non stop for 5 hours before we forced them to go to bed and get some sleep. The next morning they again were begging to play it. Exciting for the kids but not too loud or noisy for the adults. Had the same problem with the disk as everyone else -- disk wouldn't let you get past a certain part of the game -- would skip back to beginning. Very frustrating. Wrote company and told them of problem. To their credit, they did send me a replacement disk right away, however we have not tested it yet. We shall see...Customer Review: Great Concept!

I bought this for my son who adores anything pokemon. The idea was great and we had fun until it froze on us. we had to restart the dvd which meant restarting the game. The dvd was brand new and unscratched so i'm not sure why it kept freezing. We ended up switching to the computer, where it worked just fine.Customer Review: Great game for the Pokemon lover!

My son and stepdaughter are crazy about Pokemon and absolutely love this game! The first time they tried it, they played for 2 hours. The DVD portion of the game is fun and interactive. My 5 year old son bought this with his own money. He loved it at first, but then the game would just start over right in the middle. We have never been able to get through a whole game. It is a great game for Pokemon lovers if the disk would work.
