Customer Review: Pokemon Champion Island: WAY too easy!
Summary: 4 Stars
I got this game a while back. The disk does restart occasionally, but it seems to do so when the game is played multiple times at once, if that makes sense. The trivia is too easy for me and about 80-90% of all Pokemon-playing people I know. Children younger than 9 or people who haven't played Pokemon very much might find this a challenge, but, instead of questions like "Which Pokemon is resistant to fire type attacks?", a harder question would be "At what level does Flygon learn Hyper Beam?" To compromise, I would suggest that the game have varying levels of difficulty. Otherwise, this game is great, if a bit too short. However, the game's length could be adjusted depending on how long you want to play if you could choose how many bosses you want to fight for the current game. Another thing, the bosses shouldn't be Professors, but instead Gym Leaders, as they would most likely have stronger Pokemon. I would also like it if your Pokemon Evolving was incorporated into the game. Plus, they could have you fight a legendary Pokemon in a best-three-out-of-five trivia challenge once you have obtained all of the badges to beat the game completely. The animations for battles are cool and make the game more realistic. All in all, with a bit of tweaking, this game could have been legendary! As it is, it's a nice game to play once in a while.
