I . . . don't understand. They're rubber bands that vaguely resemble animals or structures. I bought these because everyone loves them, and I was wondering what the hype was about (I study people intensely). The hype seems to be about cheap, disfigured rubber bands.
Don't get me wrong; I'm sure these things are incredibly interesting for . . . some people. However, it's intriguing how they are targeted for children, yet they seem to have made the biggest boom in teenagers.
And I wasn't even aware that they were supposed to resemble things until someone pointed it out - I thought I had simply gotten a pack of ones which were messed up. The animals could resemble animals, if they were born with birth defects and then proceeded to get run over by a semi-truck.
I also find it amusing that people who are enthusiastic about this product rate it five stars under "Educational." Pray tell, how are these rubber bands educational? They may be educational for a two-year-old who was wondering what a cat looked like if it was horribly disfigured and had three legs, but otherwise, they serve no educational purpose whatsoever.
All in all, these are a complete waste of money. If you want to wear disfigured, colored rubber bands on your wrist, there are plenty of those along the side of the highway.
