Customer Review: Remote Doesn't Work!
Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this game for my 4-year-old niece's birthday and the remote does not work! I will call the company up on Monday to see if we can get a replacement remote. In the meantime, our DVD remote sufficed just fine. But you can understand my niece's disappointment that she cannot use the princess remote that is supposed to be used with the game! Thus being the reason I gave durability only 2 stars.
That aside the game itself is quite pleasing to the eye with a nice colorful game board, tiara, and princess pawn pieces. The sound and picture quality of the DVD are quite good. It also teaches younger children to take turns during organized play and kept my daughter and niece busy for at least 45 minutes.
The questions are probably a bit too easy for children over the age of 9 but would probably still keep [older children] entertained while giving them a "refresher course" on the princess world of Disney! I also had a nice time playing with the girls and liked that there were a decent number of questions before they started to repeat.
The best part in my opinion? There are very few pieces to worry about being lost. So many of my kid's toys have a million pieces that end up getting lost rendering the toy useless.
A nice game for any little princess - just be wary of the remote as it seems to be a common problem.
