We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old that both enjoy pushing the buttons on this toy to learn about the Presidents. In less that 3 weeks the 4 year old had all the Presidents memorized (face, and #) as well as other trivial facts. In another week the 4 year old had learned all the President states. However, all 50 states were familar since learning them at 2.5 years of age. What surprised us is the 2 year old also learned all the names of the Presidents and could locate any President on the board within 3 weeks. The toy does look and feel a bit cheap (what do you expect for $10), but it is surprisingly very, very durable. It has been dropped many times, stood on by the 2 year old, and used a whole lot. It still functions perfectly. This is probably the best toy for the money that can think of for early learning on this topic. If you want your children to learn the Presidents, this is a great tool to consider. It may be useful to expand the child's learning in other topics - money, and history.
