My five year old, (3'9"), has been using this for a year and a half and LOVES it. He often asks for it for fun or if he sees me sweeping he'll want it so he can follow me around. It's really nice when he can use the dust pan to pick up all the little piles I make. :) It's held up quite nicely, it's just the right size, so far, and he knows how to hold it, properly. My son is almost 2 and absolutely loves to sweep the floor. He has a hard time bc my brooms are too big for him. When I saw this broom set I knew that I had to get it. He loves it...as I expected. It is made from very sturdy material....exactly like the real thing, just small enough for little people. I bought this set for my 15 month old son because everytime i would use my broom he would try and take it from me. This is a cute set and its light enough for little ones. The broom itself is a little long for my son to actually hold correctly(and he is a tall toddler) but he enjoys carrying it around. he plays with the dust broom also and is very proud that he can now help me clean up.Customer Review: broom set

the first one that we got the handle to the large broom was broken in half upon delivery. when we received the replacement and gave it to our son it took him about an hour of playing with it for the handle on the large broom to almost break (handle is dented almost all the way). not very good quality at all. the small broom with the dust pan works fine but the large broom is junk.Customer Review: little helper broom

My daughter really enjoys helping her dad or mom sweep the floor. She has quickly learned to clean up after herself and really seems to enjoy it. I find it really cool that she voluntarily wants to help. Its especially nice when we track in snow. As with any long handled item things can accidentally get knocked over but with supervision its a fun little toy.
