Jack in the Box is a great toy for older children or for parents and kids to do together. My 18 month old cannot turn the handle in the correct direction and gets easily frustrated that "Jack" doesn't pop out! But when we do it together or my older son does it with her she laughs and loves to play with this toy.Customer Review: Great, classic, durable toy!

Very great toy. It's durable and not some plastic piece of junk. It's fun and we spent a lot of time Christmas morning laughing at it. The only problem is that the toy does not reload except for during a song. It is okay, but difficult for a child to understand.
All together a great gift for children =)

Recently my grand daughter had her 2nd birthday party. She and the other children were amazed and delighted by "Jack-In-The-Box". It was her favorite new toy and just the right size to carry. Many of the adults were surprised, also, that it can be purchased now a days. It is definetly well worth the money.Customer Review: great jack in the box

I haven't given this to our daughter yet - it's for Christmas. But I did test it out myself and it works perfectly. Yes, you have to keep turning the handle until the song is all over before you push the jack back in, but that won't be difficult for my children to figure out (ages 2 and 4). My little grand daughter thought this was very, very entertaining. She is only 7 months old, but she learned how to turn the handle after being shown 3 or 4 times. Her eyes would get really big as Jack popped out of his box, and then she would laugh and laugh. A worth while purchase! Susan - Wyoming
