A VERY entertaining game. Not a lot to the game you just put the penguins on and watch them go up the stairs and down the slide. There is little asssembly and takes one D battery. It has fallen on the floor several times and hasn't broken yet - although I don't recommend they make a game of pushing it off the table. I have five children ages 7 years to 1 year and all of them enjoyed it either just watching it or by rearanging the penguins or slowing one down to watch it catch up with the others. Overall an awsome toy/game and one of my favorite purchases. Definitely recommend it.Customer Review: A Favorite Toy In Our House

My girls, ages 4 and 2 love "The Penguin Game." There really is no "game" here, it's just a cute thing to watch. My 4-year-old who is on the autistic spectrum just loves to watch the penguins go round and round. She finds it soothing. Sometimes she just likes to hear the noise running and doesn't watch the penguins. My 2-year-old (who doesn't put things in her mouth but still is not allowed to play with it unattended) likes to pick up the penguins and move them around to different areas on the track and let them go. This toy is worth the 16 or 17 bucks.Customer Review: Fun, but the squeaker had to go...

Our 2 year old absolutely loves this toy. We gave it to him before Christmas and he still plays with it for hours even with all the other new toys around. After a week though, we couldn't handle the squeaking anymore so we followed a previous reviews instructions on how to shut up the penguins by removing the little plastic accordion piece inside. Worked like a charm!! We are sane again!!
HINT: Just make sure the arm piece that was attached to the squeaker is aligned before screwing the two pieces back together or the stairs won't work.

I'm kind of surprised to see this toy online. I had it when I was a kid, 20+ years ago. I absolutely loved it. I don't think you have to have or be a parent of a child with autism to love this toy. I don't have autism and I loved to watch it, young kids just like to do things repetitively, and I remember anxiously waiting for the penguins to get to the top of the stairs (it takes a long time in kid minutes) because I know what will happen when they get there, but the transition from going up with help to coming down on their own was fascinating.Customer Review: LOUD ! For the monies it is such a fun toy for the small ones.. I purchased this one for a 7 year old and she is a bit old for the toy but plays with it some. I also purchased the dalmation one for my 2 and 4 year old grandchildren and they just love it, I also read the review regarding the noise level of this toy and took the advice of the writer and disconnected the ''squeek'' 'squeek'' that was so annoying.. all in all the price and content is well worth the little effort it takes to make it fun... enjoy Mimi/from, Calif.
