I bought this set for my 18 month old grandson. He would see my husband sweep our sidewalks and want to use the big broom like his papa. He liked using the smaller broom set and mimicked his papa. He used all 3 pieces of the set. My son-in-law has a fit when I buy anything the least bit "girly" but even he was okay with this set. This set kept my grandson's attention and he uses it both inside and outside. He thought he was big stuff using it. Got a very serious look on his face.
I think the quality of the 3 toys was very good. Probably if he uses it when he is much older (he is only 2 now) it might not hold up that well, but I doubt he will be that interested as he gets older. He much prefers cars and trucks.
