Customer Review: Scares my child
Summary: 3 Stars
Having enjoyed them as a child, I searched several toy stores for a jack in the box. However, the jack in the box scares my normally fearless 20 month old daughter. Although the music brings a smile to her face, she frightenly clutches my arm in anticipation of the surprise inside. She often brings the toy to me, but she refuses to turn the knob herself. I don't remember the suggested age for this toy, but MY daughter is too young. Customer Review: Jack still jumps

This product is nicely made, but my 16-month old quickly figured out how the rather obvious latch mechanism worked, and would just pop the jester without turning the handle.
Nicely made, but still needs a bit or work.

great toy i got it for my son's grandparents since theirs was well worn from my husbands childhood. it seems pretty durable and my son enjoys it when he plays with it.Customer Review: Holding up well

The quality with this one seems pretty good. We have had it for a couple of months now and it is going strong. Our 14 month old really likes it when the jack pops out. He likes to grab hold of him and try to stuff him back into the box. I would recommend this product.
