This is a lovely little tea set. I bought it for my daughters' 4th birthday, and both she and my 6 year old daughter love to have tea parties with this. The only negatives are, the cups are very small, and the sugar bowl & milk pitcher are almost ornamental because they are so small. They break easily, even for a 6 year old who is pretty careful. Also the dishes are much smaller than we were looking for. My daughter loved the basket that it came in and thought that the dishes were beautiful. Overall, I wish that I had made a different purchace.Customer Review: Nice Set

My 5 yr old niece received this for Christmas. She loved it. She and 2 other girls were busy playing tea party as soon as the festivities ended. This set is precious!! However, please be aware that it is porcelain. For us, it was better because my nieces liked that it was "special" like mom's dishes.
