I bought this piano for my grandson who is 3-1/2 years old. He liked it immediately and although he directed most of
his attention that Christmas day to his dinosauers and trucks, he kept coming back to the piano. His Aunt showed him how to
do chopsticks which made him laugh. Although one of the keys is dead, I think this piano was a good purchase and I'm sure it will give my grandson lots of enjoyment and more importantly, introduce him to the world of music.
Description of Schoenhut 25 Key Piano Pal-Dog
This versatile little piano grows with your child! The main unit, decorated with a whimsical animal's head, is perfect for toddlers because it sits safely and squarely on the floor within easy reach of little hands. Later on, the sides with the animal's body can be attached, conveniently raising the piano to a comfortable upright height for an older child seated at the (included) bench.Schoenhut toy pianos are famous for their excellent quality and unique chime-like tones. An added feature is the spacing between keys, the same as that on a full-sized model, which teaches proper finger placement and affords an easy transition to a real piano. Included is Schoenhut's Learning System with a removable color-coordinated strip that fits behind the keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The accompanying songbook contains a collection of familiar tunes.
