Customer Review: More for the casual fan...

I agree with the reviewers who say this a bit underwhelming. I know it just can't just be me, cause this is a show with so many die hard followers who can quote word for word. I mean the only hard questions are the ones about the random actors and their careers aside from Seinfeld... but even when I got a hard one I guessed and got it right. I didn't miss a question when I played.
Let me give you an example, they have a game where it plays a scene and bleeps out a word that you have to guess - they used a clip from The Soup Nazi episode and bleeped out Elaine saying "Soup Nazi".
I give it 3 stars because I love anything Seinfeld related. But if my girlfriend or I played anyone they would not have fun because we would be too good. And the generic Seinfeld bass music is annoying. Couldn't they get the actual song?

I received this game for Christmas, 2 years ago, and it was by far the silliest game my friends and I have ever played, and we have game nights often! Most of us watch Seinfeld and though it was just too silly, not fun, and the cheap board broke in half at the seam the first night, just as we were opening it to play! What a waste of money! I can't return it or even sell it myself now!
The DVD they give you for the game is also slow and boring, not at all stimulating or fun. We stopped playing it with in the first 3 or 4 rounds of everyone getting a turn, it was just ruining the evening too much! I DO NOT recommend this game!

I thought this was going to be a great game - until we realized how complicated it was to play, that the DVD was too annoying to control and that the videos were few and far between. This game should have a simple point system - no game pieces, circles to travel, etc. The 4 of us, college educated and big Seinfeld fans were disappointing after the first 10 minutes of using this overly complicated game. It should really be completely redesigned and more DVD based, not game board based. The disc menus are annoying to move through and it just killed the whole mood of playing. Well, I just played and I have to say that it was a bit disappointing. It was just 2 of us so maybe it will be more fun with more people and some wine! Some of the questions seemed too easy and I didn't like the "My Play" format where it shows a clip and then asks a question about what you just watched. One time in the "My Play" it kicked up a "give the next quote in this scene" and that was more fun.
I'm guessing that I had myself so psyched up for this game that just about anything would have fallen short of my expectations. Will give it another few tries and see if I like it better.

I can't wait to give this "SceneIt?Seinfeld" game to all my friends, especially my boss at work who LOVES Seinfeld."I can't wait to play myself to see if I know this show like I think I do.Everytime we talk about a certain show,I seem to know which episode its from,but this game really test you.
{If you want to buy "Scene It? Seinfeld" for CHRISTmas,you better hurry.I looked for 2 weeks and finally found the game in a different state,and at a Wal Mark for 30bucks.Other stores are selling it for 39.I would have ordered it on line,but I'm paying cash for all of my gifts this year}
