Toys and Games Reviews of SE Wrist Slingshot

Customer Review: Just a kid's toy
Summary: 2 Stars

It's apparent from the photos, but I overlooked how narrow the wrist armature is. To grasp it I have to rotate my wrist sideways to slip it between the metal arms then straighten so the strap is over top of wrist. Definitely designed for a child's hand not an adult's.
The rubber tubing is soft and flimsy so it is not possible to pull really hard for much power. Even a child can probably pull hard enough to break it over time, sort of a designed-in power governor for older children tempted to shoot far or hard. For an adult this is only marginally useful for target practice and not much good for dealing with problem birds as I had hoped.

Customer Review: DONT BUY IT !!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this product 2 weeks ago and only got it a few days ago despite their "speedy" shipping rate. When I actually used the slingshot, the elastic broke on my first shot when I didn't even pull it back all the way. I then attempted to glue the elastic back on with no lasting sucess. I finally gace up on the sling-shot all together and I threw it away. Do yourself a favor: spend a little more money to get a better one instead of this cheap ****.

And by the way, this seller is known for forging reviews about their products so don't be suprised if 0 out of 10 people find my review helpfull.

Customer Review: Not In Good Shape
Summary: 1 Stars

Our boys had played with similar slingshots at a Cubscout outing so thought these would make great Christmas gifts. We ordered 3 - one for each boy. They each came in individual white thick paper and I did not open or inspect them but rather wrapped them in Christmas paper. When the boys opened them on Christmas, one handle was broken. For the other two, the rubber band and leather wrist strap were not on and will not stay on unless we reglue them. Hard to explain to kids why Santa sends them broken or poorly constructed items. Not sure if this is a problem with the seller or manufacturer.

Customer Review: just what i wanted
Summary: 5 Stars

this baby fires rocks a long way. i bought it to scare the hawks and roadrunners out of my yard, since the hawks pick off the quail and doves and the roadrunners dine on baby quail and doves.

i've also fired a shot at the top of a utility pole that is at least 30 yards away. the hawks and kestrels (mini-hawks) sit up there and watch for their next meal. i know they've got to eat too, they just don't have to use my yard as their smorgasbord...

Customer Review: Great - for the money!
Summary: 4 Stars

A perfectly serviceable slingshot. For small hands. This is not a 'real' wrist rocket.

Only issue is that the two halves of the handle are not screwed together very well. So, if you get one of these, put a few wraps of nylon reinforced tape around the top finger groove to keep it 'solid'.

You may find you need to spread the wrist brace to fit.

Otherwise, a very good value.
