Customer Review: Twins reunited for Christmas!

I ordered Raggedy Ann as a gift for my 6 year old grandson this Christmas.
I had given him Raggedy Andy the Christmas he was 2 and he has lately become interested in the notion that Andy has a twin sister. A playmate recently gained a baby sister and he has been I want a little sister. When he heard about Raggedy Ann, he has been asking about Andy's sister. So, I did what any grandmother would have and promised him I'd see if I could find Andy's sister and bring her home for the holidays.
The Raggedy Andy was bought at Hallmark because they were selling a special edition but it's the Raggedy Andy that pairs with this Raggedy Ann albeit, unfortunately, the novelty one is an inch smaller. I don't think that will bother him particularly and he should be delighted. She is well made with excellent detail. Made as good as they have been back in the days when these dolls became the rage. Ann is sure to be as beloved by my grandson as her twin brother.
I think it will be a happy reunion!

In November I purchased a Russ Berrie 16" Button Eye Raggedy Ann for my one-year-old Granddaughter. She was delivered promptly in a cardboard post office box. I wished she had been packaged in her own Raggedy box for better Christmas wrapping. I was very disappointed in the stitching around the apron. In fact, I took out the upper apron stitching and my seamstress sister resewed in for me. A few strands of her yarn hair at the back of her head had come out of the stitching and had to be pulled back through. Otherwise, she was cute and all the colors were bright and clean.Customer Review: A Classic For a New Generation

This doll has a classic look that adults will find nostalgic, while being cute and cuddly for the next generation of fans. I found the doll to be of good quality. Her dress features her name embroidered on the front, which is a very nice touch. When she arrived she was exactly like the description, with only a few wrinkles on her apron. Her hair seems sturdy, which is something I was worried about. All in all a great product!Customer Review: Said this was "her favorite gift from Santa Claus."

This was on my 4-year-old daughter's list for Santa this year. Afterwards, she has told us repeatedly it was her favorite gift and plays with it more than the other games and toys she received. The colors on the doll and clothing are nice and bright and I like that the outfit is tacked to the doll with sewing thread. I plan to buy her the matching Andy doll to put in her Easter basket.Customer Review: A doll that endures

This Raggedy Anne doll is the real deal. I purchased the doll for my 3 year old neighbor, and she fell in love at first sight. Raggedy Anne is soft, huggable, durable and colorful. She is exactly like the one I had at that age, with the "I Love You" message over her heart. Forget about dolls that talk, sing, dance and interact - this one simply loves you and never stops smiling.
