The product description is a lie. The eyes are not button eyes, as described. The only reason I decided to order this particular doll was to get one with button eyes. The dolls from the 60's had really pretty black button eyes. This doesn't even come close to the description. I got this doll for my sister. When we were young, we both had a Raggedy Ann doll. When we moved from overseas to return to the states, we had to give away our toys. My sister has always regretted giving away her Raggedy Ann. She was ecstatic when she received this new classic the other day. This is a cute Raggedy Ann doll. Not outstanding but cute. The quality of the overall look is acceptable but not of a high quality. It seemed to me for the price the size, fabric quality, and overal appearance would have been better. I think the photo here doesn't do this doll or the Andy one justice. I sent my granddaughter both the Raggedy Ann and Andy and the photo I saw of her playing with them shows they're especially quality toys, very good-looking and well made. I purchased both of the 12" size Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls, plus a few 'Raggedy' books, as a baby gift for a newborn. They will be her "first dollies" to love and cuddle, as they once were mine. Her mom was thrilled with the gift, since she too had grown up with Raggedy Ann & Andy!
