Toys and Games Reviews of TableTopics FamilyCustomer Review: Table Topics bring back family conversations Summary: 5 Stars
Do you sit down to dinner with your teen aka ipod listening nonverbal blob? Does your younger child sit just waiting for the meal to be served so they can eat and race back to the TV/Wii/Video games. Sounds like our house before Table Topics. The children love the what if scenarios and we get to figure out how their mind works along with them finding out about us. It is a great tool to bring the family back together. Now all I need to do is figure out who will cook the dinner, set the table and clean up after do they make a tool for that?
Customer Review: Great tool for family communication Summary: 5 Stars
We received this for Christmas last year and it has been a fantastic tool for getting to know our kids better. Our kids (10, 8, & 4) ask to play it at each dinner time and it has helped our entire family learn more about each other; has given our kids a self-esteem boost to have their ideas and opinions listened to; and it's been lots of fun. It's perfect for our age of kids--even the four year old answers the questions. A great gift! (I would give it 5 stars for educational...it wouldn't let me edit this portion when I saw my error).
Customer Review: A great gift for mom! Summary: 5 Stars
Didn't know what to get my mother one year and a stumbled upon this. I decided to take a gamble and purchase it and i'm glad i did. It got use on the very first day. A great way for the family to get together and for your mother to feel like she still knows and can connect with her kids no matter what age. Very nice packaging and design (it cracked a bit after a month or two but is still intact) and it gets used nearly every family visit. Definitely going for the other versions this time around!
Customer Review: Engaging Summary: 5 Stars
This game was recommended to us by a friend that is a professional counselor. We have really enjoyed incorporating this game into our family dinners. The kids ask for it! It's just a really easy way to begin meaningful conversation. I would consider buying the other versions eventually. But for now, the family version is working great.
It comes in a plexi box that is sturdy and beautiful. I leave it out on the counter and people comment on what a beautiful box it is.
Customer Review: GREAT TABLE CONVERSATION Summary: 5 Stars
This is wonderful! I gave this gift to my husband and kids for Christmas Eve. Our in-laws joined us for the holiday and we spent the most time ever at the holiday table with wonderful conversation. I learned more about everyone in our family in one hour than in a typical dinning experience with them.
My kids loved it ages 9 and 6, they enjoyed the questions, listened to everyone and asked to do it every night at the dinner table.
A FAMILY MUST HAVE!
