there's not much more to say about this thing. perhaps i'm being too nitpicky, but there's some small details that i found to be a little disappointing. the biggest problem i have with it is that the accent colouring in places like round his eyes, and in the creases around his mouth are quite a bit too much. what i mean, is its not a subtle enough effect acheived. but again, any problems i have, are minor things like that. in any case, in my searches for this item, i found there seemed to be only two tiers of this guy fawkes mask available. this one (every website i went to looked like they had this exact same one) and a replica, movie-quality prop, essentially, which fetch prices of up to [...]0 (my friend said he saw one for [...], but again, thats crazy) so if youre not as picky as i am, and not rich enough to be dropping hundreds upon hundreds of dollars, this is pretty much your only choiceCustomer Review: Budget priced for your bargain basement revolutionary

At time of writing, I believe this to be the cheapest priced V mask on Amazon; so here's the skinny.
First, the photo is misleading. The mask I received was properly tinted with the hint of yellow shading as seen in other mask pictures as well as the mask used in the movie.
Second, this is not a full movie replica but it is licensed merchandise. No one is going to mistake you for having worked as an extra on the set as it's made of thin plastic and has slight holes for breathing, contrary to the film masks which seem to be slightly thicker and with more discreet holes for breathing.
Third, this mask is definitely 'good enough' for whatever you might want it for. Halloween, protests, recreating movie scenes, hanging on your wall; it will work just fine. It may not be perfect, but it's extremely good for its price.

However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me "V."

When the mask arrived, I was glad to see that it looked better than I expected. The photos on the web site don't do it justice. The mask is thin, which makes it light for easier wearing; the shape of the mask and how it's painted are perfect and it looks exactly like the mask in the movie. To make wearing the mask more mysterious and the effect more professional, you can glue or tape two thin black qauze-like strips (from nylon stockings or whatever) on the inside of the mask over the eye holes so the eyes can't be seen. Just be sure that it doesn't impede your visibility at night. This is important if you expect to blow up Parliament in the dark. "Remember, remember the fifth of November..."Customer Review: V mask

I got this mask for one reason only: To dress up as EFG at the next nerd convention. I like it, and it is so far fulfilling it's purpose. There are a couple flaws, but for the price it's pretty good. The nose holes don't match up and it looks a bit funny because of it. The plastic is a bit thin and it's not exactly very durable. Finally, the elastic strap in the back has Velcro that only has one position, defeating the purpose of Velcro. The sides of the Velcro are also both on the same side of the elastic, so you have to twist one side of it to stick them together. I personally just cut those parts off and am sewing them together. But for the $7 I payed for it, this is an excellent deal.
