Customer Review: Fun dress up

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it. I got the set for ages 4-6 years old. My son is 5 and the jacket just fits. I was worried that the hat wouldn't fit, because he has a big mellon head. I was pleasantly suprised to find that the hat fit! The storage box is nice and large enough to hold all the items it comes with. My only complaint is the shoulder bag is really flimsy. My son likes to put the map, coins, and compass in the bag, but it doesn't stay put together well. Still, he looks like Indiana Jones, so that's what matters. The "whip" is for looks only, but I like that it has a little belt to secure it to his waist. This is a fine dress up and could work even for a Halloween costume.Customer Review: smaller size than reported, poor quality

I was very disappointed by this product. The hat is foamy-fabric and will not shape properly to look like a proper fedora. The satchel is a flimsy fabric (not canvas like the ones sold separately look to be, though maybe those are misleading too) and only keeps its shape with a cardboard insert. The "jacket" is nothing more than a cheap shirt without buttons or a zipper. I can't be sure but I think the fabric might actually disintegrate if water touches it. My son is a small size 5 and this will be way too small for him. The best part of the whole kit was the box, which was more sturdy that I expected (but my expectations were pretty low.) I bought this for my size 3t son. The shirt fits perfectly, the jacket just fits.. He's outgrowing it already. I bought this because I could not find the jacket separately in any other costume combination this Halloween. My son loves to be able to put on/take off the accessories himself. My son adored this set! He uses all the accessories except the pants (they were very long, flimsy nylon) and the hat (soft felt). I purchased a separate hat that was more like the one Indiana Jones wears. I would recommend this trunk to any child around size 3t but not larger than a 4t (assuming your child is not near growing out of size 4t). My 4 year old son loves this set. It is very cute and has lots of accessories. It doesn't seem very durable, though, and it is definitely small. It fits my son perfectly, and he wears a size 4T. I don't think it would fit a 5 or 6 year old even though it says it's for sizes 4-6.Customer Review: too small!!!!

I was very disappointed when we received the trunk. My oldest is about a size 5 and the jacket isn't even close to fitting him. My other son is a size 4 and it doesn't fit him either. We bought it for Halloween and wasted a bundle of money.
