This puzzle is a stress free way of coming home and methodically putting together a piece of scenery that is beautiful. One reason it is stress free is that it will take you away for a few hours from whatever you may have going on in your world and make you imagine that you are in this land of where the castle is (if you have a creative imagination that allows you to do that). The pieces are highly made and sturdy. There are no ripped corners, uneven locking pieces, etc. All in all this is a great way to sit down and have a stress free way of doing something that is fun and enjoyable. Plus doing a puzzle takes you away from the TV or the computer. It keeps your mind invigorated and again it is really fun to do. Once done you can prepare it for framing or hanging it on the wall. Framing is what I am choosing to do or at least my girlfriend is choosing to do that. Ravensburger is a very good company and I have purchased other puzzles from them.Customer Review: 1500 piece Castle Adventure

This is the first 1500 piece puzzle we have attempted. Ravensburger is a wonderful puzzle company with high quality pieces. If you are used to the 1000 piece level of puzzles, you will be surprized how much longer it takes to complete a puzzle with only 500 more pieces. We took three weeks to finish. There is a 1000 piece version of this castle and if we had it to do over, we would have gotten that level. The best experience we recieved from this puzzle is finding out that 1000 pieces is about our limit to have fun without becoming bored. There were several times we almost gave up on the dark areas of this one. We have purchased many puzzles from Amazon and of the several puzzle companies represented, Ravensburger has the highest level of consistant quality.Customer Review: Challenging yet lots of fun, great for family get-togethers

I was a little hesitated buying this one when I saw one review says it's a bit challenging and "not for beginners", but I decided to give it a try since the castle is one of my dream places in the world. Turns out it's a great buy and provides lots of fun from start to finish. It's one of the few games my parents(aged 65)really enjoyed and were totally drawn to it for 2 weeks!Yet it's their very first jigsaw puzzle game! My husband and myself enjoyed it too, although sometimes one did get frustrated by the dark leaves, all-look-the-same greens and yellows that surround the castle. Indeed it is a good color lesson too if you insist on "educational value".Customer Review: Great puzzle!

I like working on a puzzle in the evening when we watch TV. The 2008 Summer Olympics were on, so we were watching more TV than usual. I really enjoyed this puzzle. I started with the castle which was the easiest section for me, then I did the mountains where the sky meets, then the rest of the sky with the branches and leaves. The hardest parts were the sections on either side of the castle. It's a beautiful puzzle when complete, it made me want to travel to the castle's magical setting. It took me about 2 weeks to finish. It took me about two-three weeks to finish it. Not much educational, but it helps developing logic.
Pieces match perfectly!
Somewhat had troubles finishing black areas of the puzzle (you have them in every corner of the puzzle).
It would be helpful if there is a larger picture of the puzzle (how it will look completed) - that would help with assembling the forest around the castle.
But overall, this puzzle is manageable, and the quality of the picture and the pieces are amazing.
I highly recommend this puzzle.
