Toys and Games Reviews of Radio Flyer Retro RocketCustomer Review: Must Have Summary: 5 Stars
I got one for my 2year old nephew, and my fiancee's 1yr old son and both LOVE it. The things they like most is the vibrating seat and the flashing lights. Each one plays with is a different way, but both have a lot of fun. The seat lifts up so they can hide there toys in the compartment and then be on the go. Both times that I gave the Retro Rocket as presents everyone commented how cute it was, and where in the world did I find it..
Customer Review: 1-2-3 Ignition.... Summary: 4 Stars
My son received this from Grandma - he loves it. It has a number of sound bytes that are accompanied by lights and vibrations. It's an interesting piece of eye candy - very nostalgic. The only problem with it is that it's not a very good ride on, a good sit on toy yes, but not very easy to ride. Unless your child has an above average inseam, he won't be able to foot power the item, plus it doesn't steer?
Customer Review: Favorite toy Summary: 5 Stars
My son got this for Christmas last year when he was 1. He didn't play much with it until he turned 2, but now he rides it daily. We have it inside the house, and he flies all over on his rocket. It is absolutely his favorite toy!! He also pulls it over to light switches and climbs on it to turn on the light, which is not so good, but he loves his rocket. The sounds are not too loud and not too annoying also.
Customer Review: Simple toy that toddlers love Summary: 3 Stars
My son used it for a while, because he has this fascination with airplanes. Unfortuntely for him, he quickly outgrew. So I got him a ride-on remote control airplane. He still doesn't know how to stir it, so I am stirring it with the remote control. He occasionally sits on this toy. If your kid doesn't have a fascination with airplanes, I am not so sure if this would be the toy for your toddler.....
Customer Review: Great first riding toy! Summary: 5 Stars
My husband and I purchased the Retro Rocket for our son Jake, who's just over 10 months old; it is now his favorite toy. It wasn't the easiest to assemble and it's a shame that it can't be steered, but other than that, I highly recommend it; it is lightweight yet durable. The sounds are great; our son loves pushing all the buttons.
I would definitely recommend this as a first riding toy.
