Toys and Games Reviews of Radio Flyer Pathfinder WagonŽ, RedCustomer Review: We love this wagon!! Summary: 5 Stars
My son just received this wagon for his birthday after using my sisters at the zoo. We put my niece and my son in this wagon along with their sippy cups and some food. We hauled them around in this wagon at the zoo for HOURS!!! They had a ball. They loved being able to move around and not be confined to a stroller. I like this wagon better than the original Radio Flyer because the sides are higher so they don't have to hold on for dear life while riding and also the plastic won't burn them in the heat like the other wagon. I love the fact that it has seat belts to keep them buckled in so they can't stand and fall out. I love how the seats fold down so that you can haul other things or let a child lay down. The only negative about this wagon is it is pretty bulky and might be hard for a young child to manuever, but it is very easy for an adult. This was a wonderful gift that will be used for a VERY long time. I highly recommend this wagon...
Customer Review: Exceptional quality, wagon of fun! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this wagon a few years ago for two of my grandchildren, and again a few weeks ago for a new grandchild. It is of very good quality, and has held up very well in every regard. No seat-belt in this type of toy is very secure, but it does serve a purpose in keeping a little child from standing up. But parental supervision is necessary, of course. The handle is strong and comfortable to pull. Pulling two children is effortless, as the wheels are designed well. I would purchase this again without question! The color after a couple of years for the one purchased previously is like new--no fading. The kids all absolutely love it, and so do the parents and grandparents. It is good quality time to take your little ones for a wagon ride, and this wagon is great. I rated it a three for educational value, cause this is simply good fun--although I guess it could teach good behavior or discipline in sitting still.
Customer Review: Should have bought this 1 year ago! Summary: 5 Stars
I went back and forth wondering if the wagon would really serve our family any value. We live in the city with shops, playgrounds and restaurants close by but I don't see a lot of wagons around. After clicking the button to purchase & the arrival of the wagon(relatively easy to put together), my life has changed. I put my two sons, 5 & 3, in it this morning and we walked to a playground 1 mile away and made stops at the ATM, bakery, and post office along the way. We only have one car and my husband took it but we went out and about, safe & sound. The wagon is easy to push (they weigh 40 & 30) and even the kids like pushing me on the wagon. It is now my 3-year old favorite means of transportion to a nearby preschool - that will get him out of the door!
I think I like this model the best as it is light (25 lbs), easy to assemble, has holes in the bottom for easy cleaning and has seatbelts!
Customer Review: Great gift for two year old twin boys !!! Summary: 5 Stars
Just last month bought this wagon as a birthday gift for my two year old twin nephews, and it was an instant hit !!! They already know how to buckle seat belts, so that was first on their agenda. They soon learned that they could put their toys down in the bottom, slam down the seat backs to make a flat bottom, and crawled into the wagon for a ride. They love it. Such a good feature is that it can't tip over, although it takes a little while to get used to the front wheels moving around. I look at this wagon long-range - the boys can use it for years, and so can mom and dad with their outdoor projects. I gave this wagon 5 stars for educational value because of observing their creativity in figuring out the seat belts, the two uses of the seat backs, the storage bin, and the cup holders. Their biggest fun was moving the seat backs up and down and hiding their toys in the compartment below.
Customer Review: Safe, secure and well worth the money!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This wagon is great!! I had made up my mind to purchase the Step 2 wagon because it had two seats in it. I ran across the Pathfinder and remembered all the good things that I had read about it. The Pathfinder was only $12.00 more than the Step 2 and it had seat belts!! The box was large but it fit in my mid-size SUV perfectly. After getting it home, I had it put together with-in 30 minutes and we were in the backyard testing it out. It rides smooth and quiet and the girls just love it. Unlike a previous reviewer I didn't have any trouble pulling or pushing the wagon. Pulling was pretty effortless and will be just great this summer while walking in our local mall. I even pushed the wagon around the yard with no trouble. If you are in need of a great wagon this is it. Our local Toy's R Us store didn't have the Pathfinder but I did find our's at the local Target store. Well worth the money!!
