Toys and Games Reviews of Radio Flyer Pathfinder WagonŽ, RedCustomer Review: Overall good product Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered the wagon for my son who is 4 years old. It was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough. The wagon is plenty big and is designed with two seats facing each other. The seatbelts seem ok for very young children but they are attached directly to the seat with cheap plastic anchor type screws that seem like they would be easy to rip out by older kids. You can also fold the seat backs down and you have a large flat surface that allows your child to lay down or carrying larger items. The wheels are solid and made from heavy rubber and they roll smooth and quiet. My only complaint is when there is no weight on the side of the wagon nearest to the handle the front wheels tend to wobble. This wobble is a result of the design of the front wheels. The wheels are completly independent of each other and each one rotates 360 degrees on it's own axis similar to the wheels on the front of a grocery shopping cart. This design allow you to rotate the wagon around 180 degrees much easier but causes it to be less smooth especially on uneven surfaces. Adding weight to the front by turning your child to face backwards or loading some items on the front seems to eliminate the problem altogether since tha added weight allows the front wheels stay in contact with the ground more. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Customer Review: Great, easy to build, use and carry, child and/or puppy transport! Summary: 5 Stars
Browsed all available wagons on Amazon and toy only web sites plus visited brick and mortar stores, after much testing and comparing we finally settled on this make and model. This wagon offered the best combination of large capacity, light weight, durability, maneuverability and ease of use (no problems pulling light or heavy loads or maneuvering). Another reviewer mentioned wheel related maneuverability issues, we had NONE (as a test we mounted the front tires incorrectly - which is easy to do if you do not read the instructions and pay attention to the markings on the black metal mountings - if mounted incorrectly, maneuverability is impaired, thus it is not a product problem, just an easily rectified assembly issue ). We use it to give rides to two preschool children and shuttle our injured puppy around. Other than having to pick the dog up and steadying the wagon when we put him in, it is without complication. This wagon is sturdy, reliable and versatile. The only improvement we made was to put down a a roll up rubber mat on the surface whenever the seats were folded down to ensure our cargo did not slide around. All in all, our Radio Flyer Pathfinder Wagon was an excellent choice for our family (including puppy) at any price, fortunately we found it here in the Fall at the lowest price we could find plus free shipping.
Customer Review: The Cadillac of Little Red Wagons Summary: 5 Stars
My three year old received this wagon for her birthday. We have recently given up the stroller, and were looking for something to take to the park and on walks around the neighborhood. Radio Flyer has outdone themselves on this little red wagon. We just love it.
This wagon has high back seats for comfort and three-point (between the leg) seat belts for safety. The seat backs also fold down flat, transforming into a traditional wagon. It handles quite easily both pulling and pushing, and is very sturdy - no fear of tipping. And don't forget the cup holders...4 built in cup holders, perfect for cold drinks in sippies or juice boxes! There is lots of room for diaper bags, toys, etc. The wheels provide a smooth and comfy ride over all types of terrains. Additionally, if you purchase the Radio Flyer Umbrella Accessory, which easily clamps on to the side, your child will be protected from the sun, too.
The assembly is a breeze - just follow the included instructions. We had it together and in action in a matter of minutes. This wagon has worked so well for us that we may just pop it in the back of the car for our trip to the zoo this weekend. Highly recommended.
Customer Review: not too bad Summary: 4 Stars
I have looked for a wagon with seatbelts in it for a long long time, and I finally found it with this one. It's strange to think that we strap our children into a highchair in which they can barely move anyway, but it took until now to realize that a wagon should have seatbelts. They can be extremely dangerous if the child is allowed to stand and fall out. We moms are tryin to watch were we're going, and having to turn around every 2 seconds to make sure the baby is still in the wagon, and we know how fast they can move, right moms. So seatbelts are an excellent feature. However, there are a few things that I would change. The seats are very hard plastic and when we go for long walks my son gets cranky because he's uncomfortable. We like soft cushy seats, so do they. The other thing is the tires. With the handle being stationary, it is a bit difficult to steer, and the skinny little front tires seem to turn out of nowhere when going over a small bump and cause the tire to turn sideways and get stuck. Then you have to try to lift the front of the wagon and straighten the tires out at the same time, not an easy task while toting a 2 year old and a 4 year old. Overall, I really do like it though, and you can always throw a soft cushy towel on the seats for extra comfort.
Customer Review: everyone asks me where i got it! Summary: 5 Stars
I read the reviews before buying this wagon, so I thought I would leave some feedback for others. I debated the purchase of a wagon because our son has always been happy in his stroller. Also, we live overseas, so we had to ship it after we bought it. However, considering I got it for half the price listed here (at Walmart), it has been one of the best "toy" investments we ever made. It arrived when our son was 18 months old, and he loved it right away. It is not heavy to pull, even though it looks as if it would be. It can be hard to maneuver in tight spaces because of its length, but the handle folds in to shorten the turn.
I read that some people use it instead of a double stroller, and I can confirm that our son loves to share his wagon with his playmates. That also leaves more freedom for the moms to chat with each other! It is a great excuse to take a walk, which is not only good for mom's figure, but also a great learning experience for baby.
People constantly ask me where I bought it, since no one has a wagon where we live (Italy). Even the older people in town are getting used to the strange American contraption.
An age range for usage would probably go from 10 months through 5years, depending on the child's height.
