This scooter is nearly ready to ride right out of the box. The double wheels in the front allow my child to glide along without bumping into an extra wheel (we also have a scooter with the double wheels in the rear and the extra rear wheel tends to get in the way). Overall, this scooter seems to be well constructed and we are hoping to get a few years worth of use from it.Customer Review: great first scooter!!

My mom got two of these (one red for boy and one pink for girl) when we visited her this summer so the kids would have something to play with at her house. We had to bring them home with us because my 3 year olds couldn't give them up! They are safe and easy enough for my 3 year olds to use on their own. I highly recommend. I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old for Christmas. The first time she was scared of it but by the end of the day she had the skill down. Even her 5 year old sister likes to ride it. It's good for learning to ride a scooter. I got it because she's too young for the concept of pedaling a bike but I wanted her to have something for when I ride bikes with her sister.Customer Review: Best Beginner Scooter!

This has to be the best Beginner Scooter out there! My son got this last year for Christmas (when he was 2) and it was so easy for him to get on it and learn even in our apt. that he was a pro by the end of the summer ( we live in NYC so dont get much scooter time in winter) all in all this is a great sturdy durable timeless toy that can be passed on for many years.
