I like this wheelbarrow because it is an open- ended toy (no directions for use, it's up to the child's imagination).
I ordered it because I had recently purchased the Radio Flyer tricycle and was impressed with the simplicity of design and quality of construction. The wheelbarrow is equally durable with one exception: plastic tire instead of rubber like the tricycle. Since this is a toy to be used outdoors, I hope the plastic tire will not be a problem.

Bought this wheelbarrow for my 3 yr old grandson with the hope that he would use it to "help" his Mom & Dad with their urban backyard vegetable garden. It was easy to assemble and was at work in his hands within 20 minutes of opening the shipping box. It seems to be pretty durable and has been perfect for the 3 yr old to move mulch (and toys) to the garden. Fun to watch him learning an appreciation for both work and growing your own food.Customer Review: Great birthday present for Yard work loving Kids

we purchased this for our daughters 3rd birthday she loved it.
its very sturdy, pushes nicely, we have a very uneven bumpy yard & pushing it around was not a problem, right height for little kids, held a 30+ pound kid in it with out collapsing,
my son & nephew did somehow manage to break 1 handle but we screwed it back on doesn't look perfect any more but still works
you do have to assemble

We bought this for our son (4 years old) for Christmas. We had a little plastic wheel barrow but it kept coming apart and he would get frustrated with it. This one is much more durable looking. It wasn't too hard to put together. We're waiting for the snow to melt so he can take it outside and really try it out. He has played with it in the house and it's the perfect size for him. My 22 Month old son LOVES this gift from his grandfather. He pushes it around the yard, digs up things to put in it, and loves to dump things out of it.We've had a few mishaps with shovels of things landing in is face and not the barrow, but they've made priceless moments and good fun for everyone.
Toy is high quality and very durable. This is an excellent price / value relationship.
Great busy toy for outdoor play!
