Toys and Games Reviews of Radio Flyer Kid's WheelbarrowCustomer Review: A family tradition Summary: 5 Stars
It was a tradition in my hard-working family that my grandfather would buy a wheelbarrow for the first-born male in each family, whether in our family or a friends. While a lot of people have looked at me a little odd as I carry this on, it teaches a value of work, as well family closeness. My nephew uses his in and out of the house helping pick up toys or work in the garden, and when the 2nd nephew is old enough, he too will follow on in this tradition. It is a little odd for a gift, admittedly, but kids figure out what to do with it.
Customer Review: Good low-tech fun Summary: 4 Stars
We bought this for our 18 month old son and it was a perfect fit. He likes to compare it with our big wheelbarrow, and to roll it around our backyard...I am amazed at how good he is at manoeuvering it around our lumpy, bumpy backyard - I think it is very good for his motor skills and for thinking about how to get from here to there - I've seen him problem solve with it. I recommend it for boys and girls who like to haul things around...indoors he uses his grocery cart for his animals, outside it is it this wheelbarrow for his tools.
Customer Review: Perfect toy for toddlers who want to "help" Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this wheelbarrow for my 18-month-old daughter, and another for her 2-year-old friend's birthday. What a great toy! Quality construction (just like an adult wheelbarrow) makes little ones feel like they're really helping out with yard work. My daughter just likes to push her "babies" around in it like a stroller! At first, it was a little hard for her to balance and handle the wheelbarrow, but now she's a pro; what a great toy to work on motor skills! I think it will be the perfect size, too, until she's four.
Customer Review: Great purchase for our 3 year old Summary: 5 Stars
I compared this wheelbarrow to other brands for durability and price and this one is a winner. Radio Flyer always has quality, well-built toys and I return to that brand over and over. Our 3 year old loves to use his wheelbarrow next to Dad with his bigger one and gets very excited to do yardwork now. Just hope that lasts into his teen years! The wheelbarrow itself is sized to last him at least until he's 5 and by then his little brother will be able to use it too! Would definately recommend this one.
Customer Review: Radio Flyer Wheelbarrow is Great Summary: 5 Stars
Our three-year old grandson was fascinated with wheelbarrows in his story books and ones that he's seen at the farm they visit. When we gave him this one, his eyes really lit up, and he smiled the BIGGEST SMILE! As soon as Daddy got it put together, he began to maneuver it around, and really had fun. He is anxious to "help" with work in the yard and to carry things around in it. It is very sturdy, the perfect size, and bright, shiny, and beautiful! We highly recommend it.
