Customer Review: DURABLE and versatile - a definite "best buy"

This wheelbarrow is just like the ones adults use, but sized for 2 to 5 year olds. It is manufactured really well (not at all like the flimsy plastic ones you'll see at your local toystore) and is easy to assemble. Our children have used theirs to haul snow, sand, rocks, sticks, leaves, water, dolls, blocks, and eachother. Watch their self-esteem and self-confidence grow as they really contribute to outdoor chores by hauling their own load in their own wheelbarrow! This toy is durable and will be around long after my children have outgrown it. (Note - in case this is a gift, be careful where you have it shipped to because our wheelbarrows arrived in the original boxes you'd see in the toystore, with big pictures of the wheelbarrow on the side.) I bought this wheelbarrow for my next door neighbor's boy. He had been coming over to help me do some yard work, but he did not have his own wheelbarrow. I gave it to him for Christmas and it was a great hit. He used the wheelbarrow to haul his other present around. When we had nice weather, he brought the wheelbarrow over and we put some dirt in it and he got to wheel it to another spot and dump it. He just turned three and the wheelbarrow is the right size for him. I expect that by the time he is 6 he will be to big for it.
However, until that time this wheelbarrow should hold up. It is well constructed and when all the screws and bolts are tightened down it seems very solid.

This is a really cute toy!! Everything is amazing except for the ENORMOUS dent that was in it when I received it. I contacted these sellers to notify them about the dent and they never responded to me. My advice is to purchase this toy from another seller. It does not cost as much at other stores and they would probably stand by the product. Besides that the toy is great. It is very life-like and fun. Takes some putting together but isn't too bad. I am excited to give it to my 3 year old niece for her birthday; along with her gardening tools and watering can. She loves playing in the dirt and looking for worms with her dad so that is why a wheelbarrow is the perfect gift.Customer Review: Wheelbarrow

This review is not fully about the actual products quality, but more that my son (3 1/2 years old) has not been playing it with it as much as I had anticipated. We bought it for xmas along with some rakes, brooms, etc for pretend play and he just does not use the wheelbarrel at all. It is a bit hard for him to balance and so he is using it now just to play car races and building legos. He is a very active, coordinated boy so it is not that he doesnt know how to use it- I think it needs more stability, at least another wheel possibly or maybe as he gets older he may develop more of an interest.Customer Review: fun tool and toy, but it is made in China

Very nice wheelbarrow as others have already reviewed...pretty red, sturdy, proper height for tall boy (maybe up to ~4-5 year old). You do need to assemble it...be ready for some work and make sure you have adjustable wrench for fastening the screws...but assembly is very easy. I was somewhat disappointed to find out that this product is made in China...RadioFlyer website is all about the history of how the first red wagons were made in USA...this is misleading. I might have chosen another product if I had know this...OneStepAhead has very nice plastic wheelbarrow made in Germany.
