Customer Review: Disregard the bad reviews - This trike is great!

I just purchased this tricycle for my 2 1/2 year old son and it is awesome! He is on the shorter side so it was difficult to find a 3-wheeler that was small enough for him to peddle, but this one is the perfect size for him. As for all of the 1 and 2-star reviews, disregard them for the following reasons:
First, there's the tipping factor - Of course this toy can tip, it's a bike and bike's tip when a child (or an adult for that matter) loses their balance. Isn't the point- to help your child learn to balance so that someday they will be able to ride a bigger tricycle and eventually a two-wheeler without falling over? This trike is meant for a small child (2-3 years old), that should be supervised and assisted when they use it. As soon as your child learns how to get on it properly and make wide enough turns, the bike will not tip over on them. Additionally, no 2 or 3 year old should be going fast enough or taking that tight of turns that the bike should tip over.
Second, there's the no-brakes issue - Again, this trike doesn't need brakes because it is not meant for a child to go very fast on. Remember, this is a beginner bike, not a ten-speed. If you are supervising your child, they won't be going fast enough to need brakes and should they pick up too much speed to stop themselves with their own feet, it won't be so fast that you won't be able to stop them yourself (again, assuming that your are supervising them them properly).
The bottom line is that this is the perfect starter trike for toddlers and preschoolers who will be supervised properly by an adult when riding it. I would absolutely recommend this bike to anybody. My son absolutely loves riding it and I feel as though he is very safe on it.
