Customer Review: Cool Concept, Few Flaws
Summary: 3 Stars

I saw a user's video and was impressed so I purchased this game. While the concept is cool, the game has a few flaws that I'd like to point out...

Difficulty:
For adults, the game is just too easy, especially if you have a good short-term memory and are good with pop culture. It gets boring after just a few games, even on the harder settings. However, the game was too hard for my 8-year-old. She isn't familiar with most of the pop culture the game referenced. For my 12-year-old, it wasn't stimulating enough and he was quickly bored.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is fun overall but there are a few annoying things. First, there's no way to quickly turn off the game (that I know of anyway). Secondly, even if you have the balls in the correct order when the buzzer ends, it's not counted as correct simply because you didn't have time to push the button. Third, the phrases don't seem to be ranked in difficulty as the time/amount of guesses decreases. Either they should get easier, since you have less time, or they should be harder to challenge you. Lastly, the game should have more rounds, or at least allow you to select how many rounds you want to play.

Suggestions:
It would be nice if a player could select a category, like animated movies. That would help with the gameplay for smaller children.

Overall, it's a fun game to play if you want to kill a few minutes. It's not a game you can play for an hour or more, unless you're easily amused.

Customer Review: Great game for the family
Summary: 5 Stars

I initially ordered this to put up for my girls' for Christmas, but after watching another person's video of the game, decided I couldn't wait until then and opened it up when it arrived today. My 15 year old and I played several games, we laughed and had a blast playing it, after she quit on me, I kept playing with it by myself for hours!!! It is a great family game, or just for one person to sit and play. I saw where other reviews said they couldn't understand the words, there were only one or two times that happened to me, most of the time I could understand it perfectly. This is a great game, and most definitely worth the price. Its a little like a modern twist on Simon, but more fun. I am going to order more for Christmas gifts for other family members, and have already decided this will be one of the games we play on our next big family game night!! GREAT game!!! I absolutely recommend it!!!

Customer Review: Great fun for all ages
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great game that everyone in your family will enjoy. The goal is simple---unscramble the phrase.

We play this with our two children (ages 6 and 8). I was a little concerned that our six year old would not be competitive, but she has actually won the game before and does not find it difficult at all.

The best part about this game are all the options. As an example, each player can have his or her own difficulty level. The phrases included are generic enough so that most people will get them. As a rule, if anyone knows the phrase---they have to help the person whose turn it is by letting them know the phrase. This is nice as some of the phrases are geared toward younger kids (e.g. "Nuetron", "The" "Adventures", "Of", "Jimmy") so the kids actually help us.

If you enjoy sitting around the table with your family playing games---this is a must have!

Customer Review: Minor design tweaks would be Major improvements.
Summary: 4 Stars

The game itself is pretty fun. Its simplicity and straightforward concept are the appeal. It's sometimes challenging, and sometimes easy to correctly arrange the balls. We've played it only with adults; children wouldn't know any of the phrases we've encountered so far. There are a couple of downfalls, however. As others have stated: There is no volume control, so the game can be too loud for certain situations. (Kids are sleeping, etc.) And there is no power switch; the game simply "goes to sleep" after a few minutes. Additionally, you need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment, so if you want to remove the batters to avoid accidentally waking the game it's a bit of a pain. [Imagine a road trip where the game - backseat/out of reach - was awoken, only to begin announcing: "Missing a ball! Missing a ball! Missing a ball!"]

Customer Review: A hit with the family over Christmas break!
Summary: 4 Stars

Say What proved to be a major hit with all the relatives over Christmas break. The game was constantly in use, and everyone enjoyed it young and old. Each play mode got a healthy workout, and players found it to be challenging yet rewarding at the same time. The game is a great hand/eye/ear/memory coordination test that typically plays in rounds of five successively harder tasks. The combination of audio, lights, and play pieces that must be moved by hand, all combined with pop culture phrases (and great feedback from the audio 'host') is a really ingenious concept, and addictingly fun. The only slight knock is that you end up playing so long that you start running into repeated phrases surprisingly soon. But this is helpful as you can finally start winning even the last of the 5 rounds. All in all a great game!
