I think it is really cool, But it is'nt at all like I thought it would be! I thought that you could right a message like a text message on a cell phone but really you have to pass the chips around to your friend in order to read the message. They are still cool if you are on a raod trip with a friend or somthing, but other than that, what else could you use it for?Customer Review: Friendchips: a portable instant messenger

Hi, I in eight grade, and my friend and I split our money to get these friendchips. THEY WERE SO WORTH IT!!!! After we got them, it took a few minutes to figure out how to use them, plus I had to read the directions cause my friend didnt wamt to. But after we did, they were so cool!!! All of my other friends wanted them, and they went out and bought them too!!!!!!! The only problem is the chips. Its cool technology and all, except sometimes the chips can get lost, and each kit only comes with 4 chips. But if you are splitting with your friend, then that makes 2, and two is not a lot. But oh well, I think they are still cool. I also have other Girl Tech things, like Password Journal 4, Jam'n'Shread pen, Dare Ya, and the friendchips. This company is the coolest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Customer Review: It is POINTLESS

When my friend got the toy I was expecting something else. I thought that you could write a message and it will go to the friend ,But I was wrong. I found out that In order to send the message you have to give your friend your chip (so you if your friend is sitting across the room I guess you have to throw it to her) I also think it's stupid because if you use it at school the teacher might not know what it is but they will know you are not paying attention so they will obviously take it away from you and if they find out what it's for you will get in huuuuuuuuuuuuuge trouble and the friendchip might be banned from the school. Also what if your friend is out of town what are you supposed to do throw it and hope it reaches her? So all I'm trying to say is that it is pointless. Customer Review: i love my friend chips

My best friend and I really wanted these things and so we split them. they are totally worth the $20. now all my friends totally want them. they are getting them so we can all talk. its awesome because they come in two in a pack so you dont have to wait for your friend. they are super easy to use and theres different pictures and smileys too. you can even set a password for total privacy!!!!
