Toys and Games Reviews of FunKeys Specialty Starter KitCustomer Review: Price swings? Summary: 3 Stars
I had this item in my Cart @$17+ 3 weeks ago, then the price incrementally went to $32. So I bought through Target on-line at $14.99 +tax, free shipping -oddly it was shipped through Amazon. Today I see the new Amazon price is $14.99. Makes me use Amazon to find items and create a shopping list -just to shop elsewhere, & I used to trust them.
Thanks for the tech issues post, now worried that I'll have to re-install during each visit to out-of-town nephew, just great!
Customer Review: Total Garbage Summary: 1 Stars
This is an addictive fun toy for my young boy. Unfortunetly you need to be a computer programmer to get the software to install! Then once it installs it forces you to download an upgrade which crashes the game. My starter kit eventually worked fine and I got my son a new funkey which causes the game to crash all over again. My son is justly upset and frustrated that he can't play his fave game - it just doesn't work and the support for this product is non existent
Customer Review: Outrageous Hook Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased a Funkeys starter kit for my 10-year-old son, price $21. He played with it for two days and went through all of the games, quickly getting bored with it. So when he was offered a "free download" which allowed him to visit new areas of Funkeystown, he was very excited. Then we found out that they wanted REAL MONEY to buy virtual upgrades and access to new areas. $50.00! Can you believe it? Stick with Club Penguin. He was extremely disappointed.
Customer Review: u b had! Summary: 4 Stars
Stop before you buy this. Target has all of these for more than half the cost less. I was so irritated to find many items listed here so inflated. Who do they think we are? The smaller "rare" u b funkys are only 5 dollars at Target and the beginner kit was 14.00. Don't get had by these pirates. Shame on Amazon for allowing this.

I also found inflated prices for the idog amped. It is only 27.00 at Target, not Review: Known defect Summary: 1 Stars
DO NOT WASTE YOUR got this sweet-looking toy for the holidays and plugged it in. There was some UB problem-- my father called tech support and spent an hour talking only to discover that there is a known product defect (the driver doesn't install correctly) and that it often just doesn't work. I suggest that you avoid wasting your money on this product-- chances are you'll end up mad like me.
