We first bought one of these for my 8 year old son to encourage him in learning to read. He loved trying to "outsmart" the game, and his reading did improve. It has also helped him learn to analyze things. Eventually we had to get a couple more of the game, because everyone (adults and children)wanted a turn.Customer Review: Great devise

This toy is pleasing to adults as well as kids. My 12 year old neice was a little frustrated that she could always outwit it. This game is great for all ages as you try to beat the 20q brain. Don't let the name fool you, if it can't guess by question 20 then it will go to 25 questions before giving up. Still nothing is as satisfying as beating that sassy brain and its insults. Customer Review: Not just for kids

Lots of fun! I would say this would be good for ages 6 and up. I am an adult and am facinated by the toy's ability to come up with the right answer and to make an old game new.
