My daughter loved this microphone and stand for all of about 6 hours when the microphone stopped working. We happened to have an american idol microphone that was about the same size and and went to radio shack to buy a smaller plug and are now using that microphone instead. She still loves it (with the new microphone we had to use)...Customer Review: My son loves this microphone

I bought this microphone for my 2 1/2 yr. old son for Easter.He loves it. He loves to sing so that's why I got it but he also loves all of the drum sounds,probably even more than the actual singing.My only complaint is that the microphone doesn't stay on the stand very well but it is well worth the money. My 3 year old got this as a Christmas present. It was the one thing she really wanted. She was quite disappointed. The microphone often cuts out or completely doesn't work. The cord needs jiggling to get it to work again but this doesn't always do the trick. While it was inexpensive, it has been a huge disappointment.Customer Review: Fun toy, poor quality

We loved this toy and had so much fun with the little performances our kids put on for us with it. All the reviews said that the mike would break, and sure enough, 2 weeks after getting it the mike is broken. We can jiggle it a little and get it to work for a minute, but it is very frustrating. I was concerned about purchasing this due to negative reviews about the microphone, but my 6 yr old daughter loves it and plays with it all of the time. We have had no problem with it and she is not what I would call a gentle child. When carried the stand pops out of base, however easily pops back in.
