This is twice I bought this game. My daughters lost parts to the first one that they got for Christmas a few years ago. It is best if you can leave this game put together. My daughters like this game and I enjoy playing it with them. It goes pretty quick which is a good thing. I read complaints about things falling off when you push the ghost down. The best way to get around this is to hold the base, that the ghost is on, firmly with one hand and push down the ghost with the other. It causes no shaking of the game board. The one feature they could have added which would have been neat is a sound bite of some sort when you push the ghost down.Customer Review: Watch out Scoob - Quick and fun game

Unique game that is fun and quick to play. I gave it 4 stars because it took awhile to figure out how to assemble the traps. The board game is easy to assemble and dissassemble after you put it together the first time. Only a few traps and the heavy duty cardboard backdrops need to be removed to fit it back in the box (At an angle). I wish the game pieces/pawns were plastic instead of cardboard. The other pieces are well made and should withstand the use of my two boys (4 & 3 years old). The traps work great and in random order. The traps don't activate every time which keeps the player guessing if he will remain safe.Customer Review: Batteries not included - or needed!

I was hesitant to buy this game after reading all of the reviews, but my 4 year old loves Scooby and it looked too cute to pass up. I will agree that it required adult assembly and patience since the instructions were useless, but to me it was really, really worth it! This game is inexpensive and the parts move without requiring any batteries. The pieces are secure, so the only ones you have to worry about losing are the characters. It's easy to understand and play, my little boy especially likes revealing the villain at the end of the game. Who is it? It's that guy again!Customer Review: great game for young children

My 4 year old daughter loves this game. We play it every day. It is fast paced to keep her interest and she loves the traps. Game is very simple. She also plays with it like a doll house and makes up different mysteries for the gang to solve. Our moose head doesn't work as well but it doesn't affect the game. I was pleasantly surprised about the durability. Based on reading some of these reviews before purchase, I was expecting "mouse trap" quality in which the traps didn't work or the game would fall apart. My son saw this toy in the back of the book so I did some research. All the feedback was negative but I got the toy anyway and it was WORTH IT. Everyone out there stop putting down Scooby Doo and the Haunted House game, it is durable, fun to play and I see no problem with it. The only thing that sticks is the ghost coming back up out of the house when you push it down. I found that just adds to the anticipation of what will happen. I am VERY pleased with the game, it just goes to show you, don't listen to every review and don't always believe what you read.
