I bought three sets of these cards, thinking that I would be getting new cards that are just not in the original packaging. When they arrived, it was obvious that the cards are used and have been handled. Edges are worn or chipped, some are warped or bent. The description says nothing about these being used cards. I think this is deceptive advertising. Basically what you get are all the crappy cards that somebody else played with and then decided they didn't want.Customer Review: Pokemon Cards

+ Most cards look brand new
Cons:
- Repeated cards in the deck; more than 1 or 2 same cards
- Some of them certainly do look used; bent, wrinkled
Closing statement:
For a child who loves Pokemon cards, this is a great buy. Mostly new cards and worth the price.

I ordered from the Gaming Broker. The cards came in excellent shape, if anything, new condition, nicely sealed. There were hardly any repeats, no energies, maybe three trainer cards, but over all I am very happy with my purchase. I'd say this is great for someone who hasn't played/collected in awhile and wants to get back in the game, or a great starter deck plain and simply. I received a ton of new cards I've never heard of. I am writing this review to comment on the excellent customer service I recieved from this vendor. I ordered 2 sets of the cards (200 cards). I was very satisfied with the cards, they were all new cards (I read a review that said they were used), but recieved multiple of copies of one specific card. Hey, as a mother, I don't get the hype... but I'm not the one that matters. My son is 6 and they've helped boost him into the next reading level because he wants to be able to read them and play. He love the game, though we haven't quite figured out the rules yet, and he loves the cartoon. I have to say, I kinda enjoy it too. He's really loved this card game, and I'll be buying more for him in the future. ;)
