Customer Review: Pokemon card pack
Summary: 1 Stars

I wasn't very happy. They were in good condition, however there where so many mutipules in the two packs that I bought it wasn't worth it. Here are the multipuls i got: 2 mantine, 2 magicarp, 2 full heals, 13 energies, 4 Golbat, 6 Wooper, 7 Omanyte, 9 Diglett, 3 Ekans, 2 Muk, 3 Geodude, 3 Exeggcute, 2 Vulpix, 3 Machop, 5 Graveler, 3 Meowth, 4 Venonat, 3 Victreebel, 2 Caterpie, 2 Starmie, 2 Nidorino, 12 Eevee, 11 Horsea, 5 Ponyta, 7 Dark Vaporeon, 5 Berries, 4 Lickitung, and 3 Vilplume.
There were NO holo's, no reverses, no legendaries and probably just 10 to 14 rares of not very high quality like Muk Victreebel and Vilplume. Also most of the cards were older. Most of them I have from back in the old days when it was first starting. Not many new Pokemon. The newest one I got was a Drifbloon. I suggest if you want to still try it out, just buy one for now. This is not for an avid collecter, not even little kids there are just to many multipules.

Customer Review: lots and lots and lots of repeats
Summary: 3 Stars

Originally, I bought this set thinking they were the original cards.
(the ones I collected 10 years ago)... but they weren't.
my computer has a small screen, and on that small screen they didn't look like the new ones.
I'm alright with that though.
I'll just keep searching for the old ones.

But my main complaint with this set is the amount of repeats.
I had 3 Pikachu's, 4 Luxio's, ect. ect. ect.
In total there were only about 50 cards minimum... (minus the repeats).
I don't consider repeats to count.

These two problems made me sad. This was the card game I loved as a child, and it wasn't what I was expecting at all.
Heck, I still watch Pokemon... and the new cartoons aren't nearly as good as the original either. :/

Customer Review: Great price
Summary: 5 Stars

I assume that most people who buy these know that normally if you buy a pack of 5 of them wrapped in cellophane from Target or wherever that you are paying about a buck a card - ridiculous if you ask me - but my 6 year old loves them - and they are great rewards for him completing chores or homework. What you are ordering here are 100 new cards - not wrapped in cellophane - but they came in a really nice plastic carrying case - which I hadn't anticipated - and my son can't wait until he earns all 100 cards so he can have the case too. There are duplicates which I would expect - but for the price - about 10 cents a card - oh well - also don't expect too many high value cards - but there are a few and once again for the price I say oh well.

Customer Review: Great buy!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son is pretty much addicted to Pokemon anything at the moment. I purchased these cards for his birthday and he loves them. There was actually a great variety (considering the site mentioned there may be dupes) - especially for the low price. I don't quite "get" the point of the card game myself, but my son enjoys playing with his friends. As far as "educational value" - I don't consider this an educational game, so hard to place a rank on that. If you play the game the way it's supposed to be played, though, it actually requires quite a bit of reading and basic math (adding scores, etc.) Can get pretty strategic, too. Overall very happy with the procudt and transaction.

Customer Review: Fun Pokemon Cards
Summary: 4 Stars

These packages of 100 Pokemon cards are fun to collect and battle with, but aren't meant to be educational. They do use arithmetic, especially adding or subtracting of 10's. You might get some (reverse) holographic cards, which are prized for being holographic (making them useful if you want to trade for a certain rare card, or just for making your deck AWESOME). To make the cards more durable, there are "sleeves" that can be bought cheaply, but they aren't necessary. I recommend getting these for kids who have played any of the games and like them a lot. It can make them feel as if they "own" the pokemon in real life. Have fun.
