Toys and Games Reviews of Music & Lights Sit 'n Spin: Rockin' TunesCustomer Review: Still fun after all these years! Summary: 4 Stars
Sit N' Spin is still a great toy! Durable, easy to clean, and fun for a wide range of ages. My daughter got this as a gift at age 4 or 5, and she still plays with it at age 6. Yes, the "rockin' tunes" are annoying for parents (my husband HATES the music), but we solved this by making Sit N' Spin "basement or outside only" toy. Ours has even survived getting wet on the light panel.
EDIT 2009: Five years later, and we still have the Sit N' Spin. Now our 3yo son plays with it. This toy really will hold up, maybe I'll even keep it for the grandchildren I'll probably have one day!
Customer Review: We like it Summary: 5 Stars
My daughter received this toy for her second birthday. She really enjoys playing with it. I would have preferred to get her a regular sit n spin (no lights and music) - but the music makes spinning around even more fun. (I'd rather she make up her own songs - but I can't have everything I want, can I?) I haven't had any of the problems with durability that other reviewers have mentioned - but my daughter plays with this toy pretty gently, so that does not mean that the problems are not there. Bottom line - the toy is a lot of fun, and encourages movement and large motor development
Customer Review: Recommend this one... Summary: 5 Stars
My son got this one for him but is now for both our kids... my son is 3 soon and my babygirl is 11 months. She is learning to balance herself with whatever she feels safe enough. She works out with this one. Babies love music and lights and so she's totally attracted to this one. My son loves round things so it was what attracted him to it but he quickly found out how to use it and he got it good now. I love this one we had it when we were little and I wanted my kids to have this one too. We had the one without the lights but with the lights is even better.

Customer Review: So much fun Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this for our son for Christmas when he was 18 months old. It is so much fun. It took very little time before he got the hang of it, and it keeps him occupied for quite a bit. The music could be a little quieter, and I was desperately looking for high/low switch (none), however, like most childrens toys, you get used to it. Assembly was pretty easy and so far its holding up extremely well. We have had kids up to 4 years old on it spinning like crazy and it's still holding up like the day we took it out of the box. So far, so good. I highly recommend.
Customer Review: New and improved? Yeah, right! Summary: 1 Stars
I just put this together for my 3-yr-old, who was very excited to be getting his own. He plays with one of the original type Sit N Spins at preschool and loves it. However, this "new and improved" version is a piece of junk. The support that connects the top to the base unit is made of cheap plastic and has way too much give in it to effectively get a good spin going. My son can really make the old one spin quickly, but with this one it's useless. He complained that it's too slow and gave up on it within about two minutes. It will be definitely be returned.
