Toys and Games Reviews of Music & Lights Sit 'n Spin: Rockin' TunesCustomer Review: My Girls Love This!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my 1 year old and quickly found that it is a favorite of both her and her older sister. They are now 2 and 5 and use it constantly. It seems sturdy to me since they both get on at the same time and it has never had any problems working. The version I have is not the rockin' tunes one, but it does play music and it is not too loud. We have lots of toys with equal noise making capabilities. (I probably wouldn't like the rockin' version though....) All in all a toy my kids use all the time. (Do they have a larger version anymore?)
Customer Review: musical sit & spin Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this toy for our daughter's first Christmas, and she figured out how to use it within seconds. She loves all the different songs that play on it while spinning around. She is now three years old, and I don't think there's a day that goes by that she doesn't ride on this toy. It was a good muscle, and coordination builder for her. Her four year old brother loves to use it also, and they sometimes fight over it. I recommend this toy for rainy days. It keeps them busy for hours. It's also very sturdy, so it can be used for many more years.
Customer Review: Always Fun Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves it. Although you do need to be careful as little ones can easily fall off, the entertainment value is great. She sits on this and spins and spins and giggles, giving her and us lots of pleasure, as well as some good body exercise. (For her not us :0).........)
It also brought back some sweet memories of her mom playing on her sit and spin (without the music) years ago. This again will need supervision with a toddler, but it is one toy that will bring hours of enjoyment to your little one.
Customer Review: Not Impressed Summary: 3 Stars
We purchased this toy for my daughter's 3rd birthday because she loved to play on an older sit 'n spin they had at one of her playclasses. I really don't mind the loud music, though I wish it had a volume control or off switch at times. However, my daughter is only 30lbs and she has a very difficult time making the toy spin around. Her arms are tired just after spinning it around 3-4 times. I watch her work very hard and after a few minutes she just gives up and stops playing with it. We never had this issue with older versions of the toy.
Customer Review: It's the same toy you loved when you were a kid! Summary: 5 Stars
If you child likes to spin in circles, s/he'll love this toy! Another "bonus" is that it has a button on the top that plays various instrumental short tunes. Fortunately, it's not very loud, which tends to be my main complaint about children's musical toys. And, I'm not sure what the 'real' song is, and depending on your age, you might not know what I'm talking about, but one of the songs it plays is "Great Green Globs of Greasy Grimy Gopher Guts.." (Obviously just the tune, not the words). The memory gave me a smile.
