Our son got this toy for his B-Day and over the past month this plane has had more crash landings than a crash test car. Yet, it has held up extrememly well. It is a big toy and he loves to play with it. Built of solid plastic I thought the 1st time he threw it on the hardwoods it would be in pieces but not even a scratch. The details are pretty cool but be aware that there are many small parts so keep away from babies.
