I bought the playmobil castle before I bought this (see review). I love these toys but I just don't get it. They do not stay together and parts are always hanging loose. I do glue them which helps, but they take a long time to put together and they do not stay together. Maybe that is the whole strategy with this toy, to have kids have to reassemble them every 10 minutes, but I just don't get it. I do like these toys, don't get me wrong, just be prepared to have pieces lying around and not attached to the toy.Customer Review: Rippin'g good!

All Playmobil sets are very excellent! They just have much better quality and design than any knockoffs and I consider everything else knockoffs. They are of such a high quality that you can pass them on down generations.
This set is a very good deal. The larger pirate ship costs over twice this one. Your kids, if they like pirates will play with this over and over again, and make you buy the rest of the Playmobil pirate stuff; you can't stop at one set, so buyer beware!

I bought this for my 4 year-old son for Christmas last year. I wasn't sure how he was going to like it. As it turns out, he absolutely loves it! He loves all the little accessories that come with the ship and will spend hours making up adventures. His friends that come over to the house really like it too. My son has played with the ship on dry land and in the bath tub and it does just fine. The sails have a tendency to fall off easily, but they are very simple to put back on.Customer Review: Ultimate pirate ship!

Awesome! Is all I can say. However, I bought this on the Amazon recommendation for 3 years old. There are A LOT of tiny pieces and I mean A LOT! Little swords, guns, feathers, etc. I tried to get those put away for when he is a little older but other than that - it has brought a lot of joy to my little guy and hours of play already and he's only had since Christmas! I bought this toy for my son and have not regretted it since. Very sturdy plastic, big enough for clumsy little hands, but not big enough to take up a bunch of room in the bedroom/playroom. It took me about an hour to put it together. Although another reviewer on here said they instructions were horrible, I thought they were VERY easy. I almost didn't need them! I am definately going to keep Playmobil products on my gift lists!
