I purchased this doll for a friend from our church (well a friend's daughter) as a gift from my daughter. I was pleasantly surprised with how cute she was in person. The doll definitely would delight a strawberry shortcake fan. The birthday girl loved the doll and from inside the box she seemed quite durable. I didn't get to take the doll out of the box since it was a gift but I'm happy that we bought it.

I think this doll is very cute but I have to agree with the other reviewer. She doesn't look the same in person. She looks very different, her hair doesn't match. My 3 yr old saw this in a local store and wanted it, it made a great Easter gift for her- it shipped quickly and the price was great - I could not find it in local stores- and if I did- it was either out of stock or at a much higher price! My two-year-old loves baby dolls and playing with her older sister's strawberry shortcake dolls from three yeas ago, so this was the perfect doll for her. She loves hearing her giggle and giving her the strawberry bottle. A little pricey, but well-worth it for us.Customer Review: My 4 year old got one and the 20 month old wouldn't let it go, so I had to buy another one!

Love it, it's cute, but you have to remember to turn off the giggle at night if they sleep with it. Also, the strawberry smell is over powering to me, but both my girls love the doll and never put her down!
