The Star Wars Playhut is exactly as described. My three year old fits inside comfortably (not standing up)and it could easily hold three more kids. I can see him using this for a few more years as the space is adequate for older children too.
I originally purchased this as a replacement for our Disney Pixar Cars Classic Hideaway Tentthat he likes to sleep in but is far too short for him. The first night we unpacked this tent he slept in it quite happily. There is plenty of ventilation and space for toys. Laying down he is just the right size - maybe a little longer than the playhut, with a pillow etc. but it still fit him comfortably for sleeping. Plus the front mat (that the child in the picture is standing on) lays flat so little toes could poke out if they needed to.
My main purpose in chosing this tent was the size and its ability to "pop-up." We use tents off-and-on all the time and being able to easily fold it down and store it was extremely important. I absolutely did not want a play tent with poles they are too time consuming to set up and tear down, even if they're easy, I wouldn't want to do it daily. Pop-up tents I don't mind putting away and getting out whenever.
So far, I am very pleased with the purchase as is my son. If you've never had a Playhut brand tent before be aware the material may seem a bit cheap. It probably is. However, it is lightweight and easily collapsible and we never had any trouble with our first one (rips or tears), of the same material.
