My four kids, ages 4 to 12, all love this toy. They were first introduced when my 12 year old was a kindergartener, and she loved them then. They were taken off the market for some reason, and I'm delighted to see them back. I bought one for my 4 year old and all of them play with it. They even watch the DVD (which seems to be two episodes of a tv show about Sky Dancers as quasi superheroes). The DVD shows two boy Sky Dancers in addition to the three girl Sky Dancers that you find in toy stores, and he wishes that you could buy a boy model. But he wants one of his own so badly, he's willing to take a girl one! That says a lot about this toy's appeal. Everyone loves to make it fly, and when they're not launching it off its base they're acting out let's pretend adventures with it, using it as a doll. (It doesn't look as though it would work very well as a doll, but they like it.) So far it has weathered being banged into the ceiling, walls, and floor, and both the house and the Sky Dancer have come through without a mark. There's not much to the toy, which is why I didn't give it a 5, but for what it is, it's great.
