Customer Review: Great diary for young girls

This diary is much prettier than it looks in the picture above. My daughter is 7 and she absolutely loves it.
We did, however, have two problems with it: one, the diary has crystals attached to the cover and it arrived with a few of the crystals broken off. I assume this was due to poor packaging, not flimsy construction, as we have not had a problem with any other breakage over the last several weeks. Second, the lock is extremely flimsy and my daughter accidentally broke it within two days. As far as I can tell you can't purchase a replacement lock, which was a bummer for her.
However, those are two fairly minor issues (the lock being the bigger problem but I'm pretty much over it now that we solved it by getting a pink luggage lock instead). Overall, the diary is beautiful, the pages are a decent thickness, and it's a great gift for any little girl who likes to write.
