My son (5) and I first learned of this game at my mothers. It is a great counting game. My son has now mastered the game and has begun to cover his holes knowing where you want to move next. My daughter (4) also plays. It's a great thinking game.Customer Review: Great for almost every age

My husband picked up a version of this game at a museum in NYC thinking it was a unique game. Our 4yr old loved it (and we play it after she goes to bed!) so we started looking on line to see where we could get as gifts for others. My Step-son has this Mancala set and he brought it over from his Mom's house to teach me how to play one day and I wasn't sure exactly how to play but after playing it several time I got to remember that Mancala is also played in the Philippines but it's called Sungka there. The rules are pretty much the same but this game is awesome and teaches you counting and thinking skills even at my age it's good to brush up on those skills. I recommend this game and I'll probably buy my own so I can play with my husband bcuz he's a pro at this game bcuz he played when he was a child in the Philippines.Customer Review: Mancala

This game is fun for kids or adults of all ages. The game is easy to play a first grader taught me how to play it in fact. The kids love the game their ages were from first grade to fifth grade it is a game that doen't get old.
